HOW TO GET SELECTED FOR BANK JOB OR GOVERNMENT JOB
1. Read Newspaper Daily
|
Current affairs make an important
part of any Government Service Examination. In spite of this, Job Seekers
fails to read newspapers daily. Instead, they rely more on monthly magazines
and current affairs edition to keep them updated. This is not the ideal
approach for this examination. Depending only on magazines will make them mug
up the limited information. They fail to develop an understanding of the
issue. Therefore, it is important to read newspapers daily to keep yourself
aware of the latest current affairs.
Keep magazines as supplements for preparing for bank entrance exam. A Good General Knowledge will help at every step, it will open up you mind for new things, it will help you in the examination, as well as in the Interview and also in the general life daily. Try to read one news paper in Hindi (or in any Regional Language) and one English news paper daily. There is a lot of difference between the content of Hindi / Regional Language news papers and English news papers |
2. Improve English
|
The thing is, we are generally
poor in Good English. Specially candidates from rural India or from small
towns. Even candidates from Big Cities are not that much perfect to pass the
examination of English. Believe me, in Central Government and in most of the
Public Sector Undertakings (PSU), the work culture is of English only. 100%
work is being completed in English only, be it noting or drafting or general
orders. In High Courts and Supreme Court, all work is in English only,
therefore, improve your English if you want to get a Good Government Job.
English should be improve for both reading and speaking.

Subjects
|
In competitive examination, every
mark you get is counted and help you in getting into merit list. Please read
the syllabus of the examination carefully and devote time equally to all
topics. ;While preparing for competition ;]examinations, job
seekers tend to spend more time on a single subject or topic owing to its
difficulty level. As a result of which, other subjects are left out. For
clearing exam, it is important to have a mastery over all the subjects. Every
subject has its weight-age in the paper and therefore a balance is required
while preparing. Manage time and cover all the subjects mentioned in the
examination syllabus.
|
5. Previous Years Question Papers
|
When the competition examination
date comes near, it is beneficial see the pat year questions. Practicing past
years question papers gives you an insight of the exam pattern. You will get
an idea about the difficulty level of the questions. Once you are done with
